Once "J.T. Flick," also with the office of EMS pulled Con ED onto our street to repair the wires, it toook a crew, from Syracuse, in a truck rented in Patchogue exactly 5 minutes to fix the problem....and my father's health deteriorated during those days, dramatically--yet WWII hero that he was, he never complained once. Internal communications at Con Ed were such a fiasco it was beyond comprehension. The Harrison Fire Dept. checked on us every day, and for that, I am eternally grateful. Thank you to the office of EMS, and the Fire Dept.
